UC Irvine Cuts Foreign Language Requirement in Half

We were just informed that UC Irvine has cut its "Foreign Language Requirement" in half. Students at UC Irvine will now only have to take up to one year of "foreign language courses" at the undergraduate level in order to graduate, whereas in the past it had been traditionally 2 years (6 quarters). (Mind you, the requirement at High School levels is still 2 years).

This is an assault on culture.

Es un descaro. Uma tragédia.

...y la van a pagar muy caro.
